Welcome to the Tutorial Help for the Formwise system, which was first released in 1989. This tutorial covers the whole range of systems - EASI, Elite and Export, but as you work through the tutorial we will try and point out which elements are available within each version.

We hope you will find this tutorial/help file both educational and fun to use.  If there is
anything you do not understand, or have any comments or suggestions, then please give either Mike Radford or Stuart Law a ring on the
                                                                                        The Support Line on +44 (0)1792 462113

You can either click with the left hand mouse button on the highlighted text below to
move to the appropriate section, or click on the highlighted options at the bottom of the screen to move you through this tutorial.

We will hope to walk you through the system showing you examples of the options.

Whilst there is no substitute for on-site training, and one of the more obvious benefits of that on site training being the discussions which determine the best way to use the system in accordance with your organisation's requirements.

The major topics in this help file are :-

Support   We are always ready to take a telephone call on 01792-462113 for advice, or if you wish to email a query, please contact either mike@formwise.co.uk, or stuart@formwise.co.uk.

It should be said that you will need to understand some of the Windows Basics and a quick review may help, but if you are confident, then please work through the list above.

If you are starting to set up the system then please click on that section of the tutorial first and then follow the plan to creating the initial data.

If you are an experienced user and wish to catch up on what has been changing in the system then please go to our standard web site www.formwise.co.uk and from the NEWS page select System Changes:

Whilst it may be frustrating to find certain elements unavailable in your level of installed system, hopefully it should help determine whether an upgrade to a more powerful version will be cost effective.

Finally, if all other routes fail, it is possible in many situations for you to ask us for remote support and assistance. This means that through installing some software on your computer we can takeover your computer and drive it from Swansea. Please do not be concerned about security as you have to ask and allow us to connect to your system. The software in question is Teamviewer (www.teamviewert.com) If you would like to discuss this option further, then please call the Support Line.
