There are five main options, not all available in the
EASI range of systems, behind this option on the toolbar:-
1. Integrity Checking:
There are a number of options to check the integrity of the sub files of the system and will only need to be run under advice from the support line after a problem.
2. Compression:
This option will give you the option to compress either All or individual files of the system. You should only need to run these options after deleting a substantial amount of data, or after a corruption. They could take some time to run.
3. Archiving:
This option will give you access to archive consignments falling into certain categories by range of dates, but we may need to ensure that the data area is prepared on your system. Please call us on the
Support line if you are unsure.
4. Transfer:
a. Transfer to Product Sales Analysis:
This option involves moving details about products being copied from the Formwise system to an alternative system which allows detailed reporting about quantities and values of products sold and where to. Usually this would be handled by your sales order processing system, but if you feel that your company may be able to use the system, please talk to us on the support line.
b. Transfer to Tariff Analysis:
Essentially this is the same as product sales analysis, but looking at the values, weights etc of product shipped by analysing the Harmonised System commodity code.
5. Re-Calculate ALL Jobs:
This option should only need to be run if there has been a computer hardware problem, which has led to the values in the files becoming untrustworthy. The option will go through all the files re-calculating values. Usually this would be that the computer has lost power whilst you were editing data in Formwise. If you do feel that values are corrupted, or there are errors then first of all speak to the support line, and we will advise you whether the option needs running, but be aware that the time taken will be in proportion to the size of the files !
